To Whom It May Concern:
Over the last twenty years, The
Education Center has grown into one of the leaders in the
supplementary educational materials market primarily through
the use of direct response advertising. Design,
production, list selection, and mailing are all handled
in-house. We incorporate a broad mix of traditional
and "state-of-the-art" strategies in our marketing plan.
While we have developed successful
direct response programs, we often look for opportunities
to learn from other industries in the direct response community.
One such opportunity was a set of seminars led by Direct
Marketing Resources Group's president, George Wehmann.
I found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the direct
response industry, creative about the applications to different
types of business, and enthusiastic about the role of direct
response in a total marketing plan.
The seminars brought together
a diverse group of business and marketing people - all with
a common agenda. It was an informative and exciting
two days. I came away with some terrific ideas for
developing new perspectives on our direct response campaigns.
I highly recommend these seminars and the Direct Marketing
Resources Group for all marketing personnel. You and
