Recent discussions with key business leaders in nearby
Research Triangle Park, and here in Garner, who have relocated
or expanded their businesses here drove this point home. Looking
back on their relocation process, they shared their insights
with us quite openly, often in considerable detail. They recounted

their most important contacts were, things along the
way they had not anticipated and what factors really
solidified their final site selection.

are solutions to problems. Something very important is driving
the need to relocate". He continued saying, "find
out as much as you can about the problems the relocation solves.
Then take a close look at how much your community's core competencies
help address those problems."
Now we understand more. We no longer have a one-size-fits-all,
sales-oriented approach. Instead, we focus on listening more
and understanding more, before even suggesting Garner as a
location for you to consider.
